Shab E Miraj In The Light Of Quran: The Night Of Miraj
Shab e Miraj is an important event in Islamic history. It is believed that the angel Gibreel (AS) took Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) on a miraculous journey to the heavens. This journey is known as Shab E Miraj and is mentioned in the Quran. According to the Islamic month calendar, this event happened on the night of 27 Rajab.
The night of Miraj is divided into two parts. The first part of the night is called Al–Isra, the journey from Makkah to Masjid Al-Aqsa. And the later part of the night is called the Al-Meraj, which includes the travelling from Al-Aqsa to Heavens.
The Quran gives us a detailed account of this miraculous journey and its significance. It tells us how Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) ascended to the heavens, met with various prophets, and received divine revelations from Allah. - Allah Speaks to the Prophet and gets the gift of Five-time prayers from Allah Almighty.
- Prophet Muhammad visits the Heavens and
- Then Prophet Muhammad Returns to Makkah.
What to do on Shab E Miraj?
The night of Miraj is considered one of the holiest and pure nights of the Islamic calendar. Islamic Scholars strongly recommend offering prayers, doing good deeds, ask for forgiveness from Allah Almighty. You can Pray Namaz e Salat
What are Shab E Meraj’s prayers?
On this Night of Miraj, you can Pray 12 Rakat of Namaz and after Namaz in the arrangements 2*6. And after completing this, repeat this Dua.

“Astagfirullah” 100 times
Durood Sharif 100 times. (Any Durood you know)
